Very good idea, Phyl.  You really might have something and it could make our blogs a little more interesting.  At least we'll all be on the same page when talking about the various character traits.  How about me doing benevolence.  Basically, benevolence characterizes the true goodness of the mind and spirit, the unbiased kindness to do good.  It confers thought and regard for the welfare of other people, and find expression in sympathy and kindly gentleness...and yes, Phyl, compassion as you defined it, with charitableness and kindness.  Let's think about some high profile people who we think illustrate these character traits.  Ashley Judd is one who comes to mind, same with Bono and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. And Oprah Winfrey.  Talk about benevolent people.  All of these people are.
