Nasty commercials

Wow. We're really getting into some pretty heavy stuff on these blogs. But I like the direction they are taking. If you didn't say what you said Gasbro, who would say it? There are issues and there is character.
And the character of a country's leaders should almost trump the issues. Ands right now, I'm seeing something that makes me uncomfortable - the commercials being run by the candidates for president. Who cares about whether someone emails? Spare me. What we want to know is what the candidates are going to do about the economy, about terrorism and security, about education and healthcare, and taxes and energy. That should be the debate. I don't know about you guys and gals, but with less than three months to go, I think character or lack thereof is beginning to show itself in this campaign - and the candidates that stick to these important issues are the candidates that I would choose because they would be showing character and providing solutions, not deflecting their inexperience to handle the major problems behind nonsense. Am I on my soapbox or what?
