Personal responsibility

Glom, you struck a nerve when you spoke about perseverance and nature.  I had been thinking about that and am reminded of a comment made by Jim Rohn, You must take personal responsibility.  You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons or the wind.  But you can change yourself.  That is something you have charge of.  And then Ghandhi said, Be the change you want to see in the world.  While it seems that our mission to bring peace, hope and security to the world is by changing everyone in the world, it really isn't.  It is dealing with the problem one person at a time, sort of like one step at a time.  What we need to do is to impress strongly on each individual that he or she can contribute to a better world by their on personal actions and that the character traits we have chosen as examples are a good way to start.  Albert Einstein put it eloquently when he said, In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.  The difficulty we have is a world with many people devoid of good character traits - and a world with people who exhibit wonderful character traits.  What we need to do is see our Little Rox mission as an opportunity for change and persevere until the balance favors good character.  Am I making any sense?
