Character Will Give Success

We're 100% in agreement with you Pumice.  Our goal is to keep the character message front and center. And these regular messages are important.  I happened to read about a Cincinnati high-school senior valedictorian who said that "a student's character will carry them to future success."  Cathy Milligan stated, "Your competence is symbolized by the diploma you're about to receive, no matter how much competence you build, without character it means little.  Know your values and live by them."  It's a pretty clear message coming from an 18-year old high school graduate.  She has been able to separate competence from character and to recognize that both are very important.  There's no doubt that both of our candidates for President, Obama and McCain, are competent - but that without character it means little.  There are some very serious issues facing us and we certainly hope that the solutions they suggest are not for political or monetary reasons, but rather to help bring peace, hope and security to our nation and the world - that's the test of character in this campaign. Let's keep the ball rolling.
