Dol. I really liked your blog about "The Wise Woman."  Quite interesting.  I want to return to a subject that was brought up last week.  Saw a comment made in the Concord Monitor from a John Riley about the comments made by Gen. Wesley Clark.  About character.  "Wesley Clark was partially right. John McCain's POW experience itself did not qualify him to be president.  But what McCain did while a POW gives us insight to his character, which is paramount in a president. By refusing early release from the torture and deprivations of the Hanoi Hilton, McCain showed his character, conviction and integrity.  These traits also led him to rush back into the fiery cauldron on the USS Forestal to try to save a fellow pilot, rather than run away to safety.  Until Clark can point out similar selfless, courageous acts by Barack Obama, he should at least keep faith with a fellow veteran who performed acts that few of us would be able to do in similar circumstances."    I really don't want to get political here, but whenever I see someone put character first,
which is our goal, I am pleased and want to share it.  Have a great day guys.
