The Story Begins...

The Rocky Mountains, often called the "Rockies," are broad mountain ranges in western North America. The Rocky Mountains stretch more than 3000 miles from northernmost British Columbia, in Canada, to New Mexico, in the United States. It was here, at the base of a mountain range in Colorado that rocks from all over the world gathered to discuss mankind in the 21st Century and to formulate a plan to bring a message of hope, peace and security to all.

As Granite explained to the delegates, "We rocks have lived in harmony for millions of years. We have stood the test of time and it is our responsibility. We have shown strength and endurance through manmade and natural disasters of every type. We are what mankind could and should be. We are rocks. We are the foundation and we need to take our message to the world. Are you with me?"

Sandstone was the first to respond. "Granite is right. It is no coincidence that Moses spoke from Mount Sinai and that the Ten Commandments were written in stone. There's a message there." "I agree," added Marble. "Our destiny is to deliver this message. I'm with you."

"And so am I," said Coal. "We have lived side by side with Diamonds and have coexisted peacefully. We are as different as we can possibly be. But we are one. Let us share the wisdom and knowledge of our forefathers."

And so it was that rocks from Asia, North and South America, Africa, Europe and Australia began to formulate a plan. And they called it, Little Rox Can Make a BIG Difference.

About the Book...

The idea of a group of rocks coming together in an effort to bring a message of peace, security and hope to mankind was the brainchild of Ron Sukenick and Joe Newman, two men who have been working together on various projects since the late '80s.

Inspired by remarkable figures throughout history, including Moses, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, Nelson Mandela, George Washington, Confucius, Abraham Lincoln, the Popes, Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King, Socrates, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi and others, yet confused why there is so much strife and discontent, Ron and Joe felt that this was the time and place to reinforce the messages these great leaders have been delivering for thousands of years.

Little Rox™ can be a constant reminder that mankind can resolve complex problems and issues through adherence to a group of character traits as a guide for human behavior. And it is their goal that 6.6 billion people will take a step forward and sign the Declaration for Humanity.

Little Rox™ is a symbol of hope for mankind.
